This charming property, built of Mallorcan stone, and surrounded by mature gardens is situated in a private location near to the authentic village of Algaida. The house was built around 1850, has been lovingly reformed by craftsmen and is approached from the country lane via a gravelled drive. Original double doors open into a spacious entrance hall with galleried landing. An archway leads into the kitchen and breakfast area, with separate utility room/pantry, and doors out on to a large, partly covered terrace. A further archway leads into the dining room as well as a cosy sitting room with stone fireplace and door on to the terrace. Stairs lead up to the first floor with two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both with shower, as well as an open dressing area/study which could be converted to a third bedroom.
Opposite the main house is a light-flooded guest studio with a bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and terrace. In the gardens a saltwater pool (9 x 3 m), installed in 2016 is integrated into the surroundings with natural stone edging, a stone built pool house and a shaded area for lounging.
The plot is fenced by a stone wall and offers Mediterranean planting including many succulents, almonds, citrus, pomegranate, evergreen trees and large mature trees.
